Exhibition: Archiprix preselection

In October, the Archiprix preselection of the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment will be presented in the BK Expo.

Out of the 45 outstanding graduation projects (from the academic year 2018-2019) that are on display in the BK Expo, 9 projects will be selected and, therewith, nominated for the national Archiprix. The jury will announce their final selection during the closing event on Tuesday 22 October. We warmly welcome you to join us for the announcement of the final selection on 22 October (18.30-19.30). 

Preselection

Closing event

The preselection will be displayed in the BK expo until the closing event on 22 October. On 22 October at 18:30, the final selection will be announced by the jury. The 9 selected graduates will present their work in pitches, providing a more in-depth view on their graduation projects in the Oostserre.

Last year’s Archiprix

The previous edition of the Archiprix proved to be very successful for the graduates of our faculty. BK alumnus Devant Asawla was awarded the shared first prize at the Dutch Archiprix 2019 for his project ‘The living landscape of Quebrada Jaime’. Additionally, BK alumna Serah-Ingrid Calitz was given an honourable mention for her project ‘Sino-African counterpoints’.
