On 18 September, the first Falling Walls lab in Delft is organised. Participants have the opportunity to share their innovative research, business model or initiative in a 3-minute pitch. Winning candidates are invited to present their idea during the Falling Walls conference in Berlin on 9 November.

Students, entrepreneurs, early-career researchers and academics of all disciplines are invited to present their innovative idea. Which walls will they break? How will they create positive impact on science and society?

Its aim is to promote exceptional ideas and to connect promising scientists and entrepreneurs from all fields on a global level. Participants get the opportunity to present their research work, business model, or initiative to peers and a high-calibre jury made up of experts from academia and business.
