On 21 October, Rob Leslie-Carter of Arup gives the lecture 'The future of project management: Implementing new ideas and emerging trends'.
After the lecture, Rob Leslie-Carter, professor Design & Construction Management Paul Chan, and John Heintz offer new perspectives on project management in a panel discussion.
Rob Leslie-Carter is engineer and project manager at engineering firm Arup. For his role in the development of the new Laban Dance School in Deptford, London, he was named 'Project Manager of the Year' at the 2003 UK Association for Project Management awards. In 2008, he was awarded 'International Project of the Year' awards for managing the Arup design team on the Water Cube project in Beijing, both by the Australian Institute of Project Management and the UK Association for Project Management. In 2009, he was named on of the top-10 project influencers in the world by the Association for Project Management.
