TU Delft Risk Management Summer Course

Special keynote session: Red Teaming & Predictive Profiling
The faculty of TPM at the TU Delft is hosting a special presentation by external guest speaker Mr Berndt Rif.
Berndt is Chief Security Officer at the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport and past Senior Security Advisor for the Dutch Central Bank.
He will discuss how the tool Read Teaming can be utilised in the context of security and predictive profiling, for example when assessing employees. He will touch on topics like the risk vs threat approach, the proactive security cycle and the link with cyber/information security.

About Berndt Rif
Berndt Rif worked as head of security at the Academic Medical Center in Amsterdam. After leaving the hospital he worked as security coordinator and information security officer for the ING Group, Protective Security Advisor for the Ministry of Interior and Kingdom Relations and Senior Security Advisor for the Dutch Central Bank.
Since 1 January 2019 Berndt Rif is appointed as Chief Security Officer at the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport. He is still active for the (Dutch) National Police Unit Amsterdam as (reserve) Inspector and Deputy Public Prosecutor. Berndt Rif is also chairman at the National Organization for Police Volunteers, Council Vice President at ASIS International and Head of the Emergency Response Team Kennemerland at the (Dutch) Red Cross. He participated in several security profiling and counter terrorism courses in Israel.
Berndt Rif holds a Bachelor Degree in Culture and Policy, a Master of Science Degree in Policing and Public Order Studies and a Master of Business Administration Degree in Security Management.
