29/03 Workshop Beer Brewing: Get Wasted

29 March 2019 20:00 till 21:30 - By: Communication

Water, hops, yeast and grains. Consumed by the litre, these four simple ingredients make arguably one of the world’s oldest and most popular beverages: beer! Join the team of Dispuut Water & Environment and S.A. LIFE as they teach you how to brew beer with waste water.

There may not be any hard and fast evidence of who invented beer or where it was first brewed, but did you know there are reports of beer brewing dating back thousands and thousands of years ago?

In this interactive workshop you’ll learn a more modern day process of beer brewing and some of the science behind it. The difference is that you’ll use waste water. Brewing beer and helping the environment – that’s never a bad thing. Bring your own empty beer bottle along and take a bottle home with you. Places are limited, so make sure to register in time.
