Symposium: Smart monitoring, management & control
07 February 2020 09:00 till 14:00 - Location: Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment, Room F - By: Communication BK
“Give brains to buildings’ energy systems”. That is the motto of the symposium ‘Smart monitoring, management & control’, organised on 7 February 2020.
A large amount of data is gathered through Building Energy Management Systems. The big challenge is to utilise these data in a smart way to minimise energy use in buildings and maximise comfort and air quality. This symposium is about exchanging knowledge and views on how Machine Learning can contribute to this challenge.
Keynotes are given by Henrik Madsen (DTU), Ruchi Choudhary (University of Cambridge), and Stephen Galworthy (Quby).
The symposium includes theme sessions on:
- Automated fault diagnosis and performance analysis
- Operation control
- Digital twins for performance prediction
Find out more here about the detailed programme and to register for participation. The symposium is organised by TU Delft Urban Energy, in collaboration with BTIC, 4TU.Energy, and 4TU.Bouw.
This symposium is organised in tandem with the subsequent inaugural address of Laure Itard, professor of Building Energy Epidemiology.
