In the upcoming two winters, PhD and masters’ students in the fields of hydraulic engineering, flood risk and crisis management will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge and skills during the Polder2C’s Winter Schools. Every Winter School will be a one-week long event that invites participants from around the world to contribute actively to experiments of the Living Lab Hedwige Prosperpolder.

Following a balanced schedule of in-class and field training and research, participants will develop and provide theoretical and practical insight into flood resilience capacity building on a strategic and operational level. Their findings will be shared and discussed with local stakeholders in the Hedwige-Prosperpolder and the Polder2C’s partners and observers.

The 1st Polder2C’s Winter School is going to take place on 1-5 March 2021. We encourage all interested students to already save the date in their calendars.
