Exhibition master electives at IDE

31 January 2020 09:00 till 14 February 2020 17:00 - Location: IDE Gallery - By: Communication

Curious to see the work of the students who follow one of IDE's master's courses? From Friday 31 January to Friday 14 February in the IDE Gallery, you can view the results of the master electives Automotive 3D Design, Memetic Product Design and Zen Product Design

These courses, coordinated by Dicky Brand, are just three of the forty electives available for master's students.

During the course Automotive 3D Design, the student makes a sculpted clay model to gain good insight in form language, proportion and character of a proposed design.

In Memetic Product Design the focus is on ‘Lifestyle’. The student learns a different way of designing, where accidental finds and 'memes' pave the way to surprising results.

In Zen Product Design the focus is on daily rituals and social interaction. The student developes a vision on minimalistic product design and how the ZEN principles play a part in this.
