Programme overview

Anticipate on needs, changes and challenges: Caro van de Venne on Entrepreneurship

To Kick-Off the Entrepreneurship Week, Caro van de Venne, partner and co-founder of Barcode Architects, tells more about her inspiring journey in entrepreneurship. Join us in the Oostserre for the lecture and make sure to stay for drinks after!

Panel Discussion: Women in Entrepreneurship

On Tuesday the 22nd of November, we welcome guests Merel Pit (editor-in-chief of De Architect), Francesco Veenstra (Dutch Rijksbouwmeester), Titia Luiten (BNA board member & director-architect at JHK Architects), Astrid Piber (partner at UNStudio), MaartenJan Hoekstra (Director of Education) and Jaqueline Mongeroht (BK students). Introduced by panel moderator Ena Voûte, they will discuss several topics regarding women in entrepreneurship. How do we inspire women to develop their good ideas during their education? And most importantly: how do we create a diverse and inclusive environment for entrepreneurs? Join us in the Oostserre and stay for a drink after!

The Entrepreneurship Awards 2022

All entrepreneurs were once apprentices. And every apprentice has had a mentor who challenged them to develop their good ideas, in whatever form they may have appeared. That is why we are kicking off the Entrepreneurship Awards 2022 with the experiences faculty dean Dick van Gameren and Robbert Guis, who guided him in their journey to get where they are now as an entrepreneur. After this, Stichting Capriole will announce the winners of the Entrepreneurship Awards: promising and innovative start-ups who will receive vouchers up till 30.000 euros to continue their entrepreneurial journey. Make sure to join the drinks after & expand your network!

Workshop series

The workshops, taking place on Monday 21st, Tuesday 22nd, Thursday 24th and Friday 25th of November 2022, are intended to guide the attendees on an entrepreneurial journey. Guided by Alijd van Doorn, BNA and guests John Heintz, Chris Aerts & Saman Mohammadi, each workshop will has a different theme (What is my passion? What does the world need? What do I get paid for? When will I be successful?) and helps to formulate the necessary answers for students to, by the end of the four workshops, have an overview of not only the theory of starting their own business, but also a start for their own entrepreneurial plan and thinking, not in their head but written out on paper.

The workshop series requires registration. Sign up on the BK-Launch website.
