Symposium: Climate installation innovation

11 November 2022 09:30 till 13:00 - Location: Co-Creation Center, Green Village, TU Delft - By: Communicatie BK | Add to my calendar

The world is changing. Ever faster. We are facing a range of crises worldwide that will also influence the design, construction, and management of future climate systems.

Challenges like rising energy costs, increasing shortages of strategic materials and pandemics require a reconsideration of ventilation and climatization requirements while facing a scarcity of (technical) personnel. At the same time, we do not want to compromise on comfort.

More than ever, it is therefore necessary to make installations truly flexible and crisis-proof, so that our buildings are better prepared for 'whatever faith has in store for us'. Hence this symposium on November 11 will focus on the question: What is a truly future-proof, robust climate installation and what process changes are needed to improve both existing and new installations?

The symposium main language is Dutch; only the presentation by Alessandra Luna Navarro will be given in English.
