Baking Dutch spiced cookies called ‘Pepernoten’

Come join our Pepernoten (Dutch cookie-like confectionery) baking workshop by our very own Café-X chef: Bo Nuijen. She will teach you about the different types of treats: ‘pepernoten’, ‘kruidnoten’, ‘taaitaai’ and you can take home your own baked batch. For all you foodies and (amateur) pastry chefs; you don’t want to miss this event!
Are you interested in Dutch festivities and fond of baking? Sous-chef Bo Nuijen has a ton of experience in the kitchen and is a badass when it comes to baking cakes and all other pastries. She will show you the different types of ‘pepernoten’ that you will see around the shops in Holland during the fall. After a short introduction and tasting of the different types you will choose one and bake them yourselves in a small group. Afterwards you can take home your own baked batch. Enjoy!
