On 21 June, the book 'Architectural Technicities' will be launched.
The book “Architectural Technicities” poses a simple question: how is this architecture possible? Assisting this endeavour, the thought of philosophers such as Gilles Deleuze, Felix Guattari, Gilbert Simondon and Raymond Ruyer meet the latest developments in fields like affect theory, cognitive sciences, environmental studies and neuro-anthropology. By the end of this book, the readers – from architecture students and researchers to academics and practitioners with an interest in theory – are exposed to a comprehensive and original philosophy of architecture and the built environment.
In the book launch, the author Stavros Kousoulas will be joined by Heidi Sohn, Andrej Radman and Robert Gorny in a discussion on architecture, philosophy and the value of architectural concepts.
