From 5 until 7 July, the international conference 'CAAD Futures 2023 – Interconnections: Co-Computing Beyond Boundaries' takes place.

CAAD Futures is a biannual International Conference on Computer-aided Architectural Design. The CAAD Futures Foundation plays a global role in advancing research with its biennial Conference, in collaboration with several regionally focused groups.

CAAD Futures 2023 reflects on the role of Computation to interconnect in and for Architectural Design. It unfolds advances in computational fields that empower artificial intelligence to decipher data and unlock new pathways for scientific knowledge. It reflects on the diminishing of traditional interdisciplinary boundaries and increased continuity across scales on the shared ground of data. It puts forward new questions that arise when current advances create new working paradigms.

The three days program includes public keynote lectures and panels open to all (Oostserre), papers sessions open to registered participants (Berlage Room), and a Co-creation Day (Delft Art Centre). CAAD Futures 2023 welcomes participation of designers, researchers, professionals, and anyone engaged in scientific knowledge and practice for architectural design and the built environment, including disciplines not yet habitually involved in computational design approaches.
