Lecture & discussion: Citizen Science

07 February 2023 12:45 till 13:45 - Location: ROOM K - By: Communication BK | Add to my calendar

On 7 February, the TU Delft Citizen Science Team organises the lecture 'Community-driven research: lessons no one talks about' with speaker Boram Kim, as part of the Citizen Science series.

In her presentation, Boram Kim, a researcher at TU Delft Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment, will discuss her involvement in participatory research (Citizen Science) as an activist, community member and researcher. Upon joining TU Delft as a PhD researcher, Boram recognized the need for a discussion and guidance for PhDs interested in participatory research. She led the development and implementation of a seminar based on her practical experience in the field. Boram will share lessons learned from the field and the PhD seminar, and will open the floor for discussion and questions.

This meeting is an opportunity to meet others who are interested in Citizen Science/participatory research and discuss topics of interest/concern, as well as find support and guidance for your project ideas.
