This Urbanism PhD symposium consists of a series of themed roundtables discussing aspects of China’s urban environment from different disciplinary perspectives.

The symposium features the work of PhD candidates (and some recently qualified PhDs) from TU Delft, Erasmus University, Rotterdam, and Leiden University.

Featuring work on parks, gardens, water and waterfronts, urban villages, secondary cities, citizen participation, and social media’s effects on the urban environment.
