The Berlage will host its Final Presentations Week, culminating the first- and final terms of its three-term program.

The week will kick off on Tuesday, January 31, with “Project NL: Riverworks," an examination and speculative documentation of the Dutch river landscape, when first-year students will engage in conversation with Ilmar Hurkxkens, Jules Schoonman, and Bert Spaan. Based on a course led by Sanne van den Breemer with Juan Benavides and Benjamin Groothuijse, the work is accompanied by an exhibition in the Architecture Department corridor.

On Tuesday afternoon, graduating students will participate in the first of a series of multiformat presentations of “Fashion House,” a collective thesis project anticipating an alternative future for the fashion industry in five emerging European fashion centers in and around Berlin, Marseille, Rotterdam, Valencia, and Zurich.

The week continues for first-year students on Wednesday, February 1, with the presentations of the "Strategies in Architectural Thinking,” led by Olaf Gipser, which investigates the genealogical cartography of a building type. The program continues at 14:00 with "Voices of the Recent Past,” led by Leá-Catherine Szacka, where students will present a series of interviews with protagonists of the postmodern scene.

The week will conclude on Thursday, February 2 and Friday, February 3, with debates, lectures, and film screenings related to “Fashion House.” For exact timetables, please visit theberlage.nl.
