A Data Carpentry workshop is a hands-on, four half-days focused on the fundamental data skills needed to conduct research. Its target audience is researchers with little to no prior computational experience, and lessons are domain specific.
TU Delft PhD candidates can receive 2 GS credits in the category of Research Skills (according to the Graduate School education programme) for participating in a Data Carpentry workshop offered by 4TU.Research Data.
The requirements to receive GS credits are: attending all the days of the workshop and actively participating in the sessions.
