In general, we like to mention that we ask for the requirements to ensure that future EWEM students are well prepared to study EWEM successfully.
You find the deadlines for the English Proficiency and BSc degree here. These are strict rules. No exception from the “Diploma” rule can be made for students who graduate in September (or later) .
For all other requirements: The lack of one or more of the requirements will be weighed against the other qualifications of the applicant, and possible admission might be considered.
Please note: The assessment of your application will be based on your documents only. So, please ensure that your qualification and motivation is clearly described and understandable. -
EWEM is a MSc program. The four partner universities have often PhD positions concerning Wind Energy. You can visit the websites of the partner universities if you wish to apply for a PhD position

Yes, you have to choose which track you would like to follow in the application. During the reviewing process, the reviewers might suggest to consider you for a different track than the one you applied for. You will always be informed beforehand.

BEng graduates usually have specific curricula that differ from BSc graduates. Therefore, their curricula and professional experience will be evaluated case by case.

At TU Delft, you can apply for EWEM and one regular MSc programme.

All students start their study at DTU. The program starts each year on the Monday closest to the 1st of September. Exact dates are mentioned to applicants in due course (including dates for introduction activities). Participation in the introduction week in the week prior to this start date is recommended.

The master program is a 2 years (120 ECTS) program.

There are 4 different tracks: Wind Farms and Atmospheric Physics, Rotor Design, Electric Power Systems and Offshore Engineering. More information about these tracks can be found here.

Yes, as long as it is approved by the EWEM thesis supervisor.

Mobility is mostly dependent upon the chosen track. The first three semesters are fixed (see programme). The fourth semester is dependent upon the choice of the student.

No. Any links we know on external scholarships are mentioned in the tab ‘external scholarships’ on this website, but EWEM does not play a (mediating) role for these

No, only students applying for a regular MSc program at TU Delft can apply for the Excellence scholarships or the faculty specific scholarships.

Erasmus+ is a grant that contributes to the travel and accommodation costs of students who study abroad. Students of the tracks EPS, RD & OE can apply for the Erasmus+ study grant via TU Delft. Students can apply for a Erasmus + study grant for their first & third semester (based on conditions). Under conditions, students can apply for a Erasmus+ traineeship grant if they like to write their thesis abroad (under specific conditions).
They will be informed by TU Delft about the procedure. The deadline is six weeks before the start of the study.

EWEM does not arrange housing for EWEM students. However, EWEM supports student with finding student housing. This is not a mandatory service and students can also choose to arrange their housing by themselves.
