Aleksandra Kondakova

My name is Aleksandra Kondakova and I graduated from the Far Eastern State University in Vladivostok, Russia where I specialized in Analytical Chemistry. I have worked at the Pacific Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography in the Laboratory of Applied Ecology and Toxicology. During my time there, I developed skills in sample preparation, operating with lab equipment, and applying methods of analysis such as HPLC and GC.

In addition to my work experience, I also have a passion for teaching. For the past 10 years, I have worked as a chemistry teacher in college. I enjoy helping students understand and apply the concepts of chemistry in real-world situations.

At the end of 2022, I started work as a Lab Technician at the ASM (advanced soft matter) group, where I am responsible for thermal analysis (TGA and DSC) and rheology.
