Sabbatical visit to Berkeley Lab
“At other top universities, they do …” is a phrase you may have heard before. And even though TU Delft has been ranked high in the QS World ranking for Chemical Engineering (10th in 2019, 13th in 2020), and we can be happy with many things at TU Delft, it’s always good to have a look how things are being done at the other top universities.

ChemE coordinates EU-project on new flow battery technology
A consortium of 4 universities and 4 companies, led by TU Delft, has been granted a 4 million euro Horizon2020 project to study and develop hydrogen bromine redox flow batteries.

Veni award for Tomas Burdyny
The Dutch Research Council (NWO) has awarded a Veni grant worth up to 250,000 euros to twelve highly promising young scientists from TU Delft. The grant provides the laureates with the opportunity to further elaborate their own ideas during a period of three years. One of the twelve has been granted to Tomas Burdyny.
