Profile

Kars Alfrink is a designer, researcher, and educator currently pursuing a PhD at Delft University of Technology focusing on contestable AI. He co-founded Tech Solidarity NL and Hubbub and was a co-curator for This Happened’s Dutch events. With over 15 years of experience in design, he has previously worked as a consultant, entrepreneur, and educator and has held various roles in web agencies. He holds a Master of Arts in Interaction Design from Utrecht School of the Arts and resides in Utrecht, Netherlands.
