Academic Background

Gert Hans Berghuis graduated from the faculty Industrial Design Engineering at the Delft University of Technology in 1996. He works part-time at the Faculty of IDE, mostly in the Master Strategic Product Design. The other four days a week, Gert Hans works as a partner at ARC, leading Benelux growth.

After his graduation. Gert Hans joined Design Agency Fabrique, and enforced the interactive media department. In 2006, he became CEO, and under his joint leadership, Fabrique has grown through the years into a multifaceted design consultancy with over 100 artists, engineers and storytellers. In 2016, Gert Hans et al appointed a new board of directors, and stepped back as a CEO to work as an innovation strategist in projects, startups and Corporate Ventures. In 2016, Gert Hans also started working part-time at the TU Delft faculty of IDE, in the master Strategic Product Design as a lecturer, coach and graduation coach.

From 2019 until 2022, Gert Hans worked as Lead of the Innovation Factory at the Rabobank. In that role, he helped structure the operating model of corporate innovation, joined several venture boards and grew a team of around 35 innovation professionals.

On October 1st 2022, Gert Hans became a partner at ARC Arise Consulting, the 1200 people agency group founded in Sweden. He leads the growth in the Benelux, further building the company and strengthening the offerings.
