MSc. Coelen, J.

Jeroen Coelen is PhD Candidate & Lecturer at the Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering with a main focus on the design of business models of new ventures.

Academic Background

Many people have startup ideas, often fitting in one sentences. "AirBnB for X", or something similar. Not everyone manages to turn that sentence into a company? My researches focuses on this:
How do people get from a startup idea to a working business model?

I research how founders design and build companies. I use my course Build Your Startup as a lab, as well as alumni founders of this course.

Are you a student and keen on trying out your startup? Or are you a student that wants to leverage entrepreneurial methods in a different project? Awesome! Send me an email, always happy to discuss ideas!
