Sagar Dangal is a PhD student at the Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering. His focus is a Testing programme for the Premature obsolescence of products: - ‘Design for Reparability and Longevity’

Academic Background

Sagar Dangal completed his bachelor in Mechanical engineering, in which he designed and tested a portable and economical micro-hydro plant for rural areas of Nepal.
He completed his masters in Integrated product design with cum laude at TU Delft. In his masters thesis he designed and tested a comfortable and lightweight aircraft seats using spring foam technology.
He further developed and designed seats for several airlines and manufacturers using the same technology. He currently works on his PhD at Circular product design in the department of Design Engineering
