Ir. Frese, E.M.
Eva Frese is PhD candidate at the Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering.
Academic Background
Eva Frese is working as an Industrial PhD researcher at Unilever and the Product Innovation Management department at Industrial Design Engineering (TU Delft). She explores how practitioners in the era of entrepreneurship and innovation management can become better at implementing their product/service concepts in corporate environments.
Eva is especially interested in the social and conceptual journey of early stage product/service concepts in large organizations. Through her doctoral research at Unilever she aims to gain empirical knowledge on this matter. She suggests that implementation should become a more explicit part of educating designers and managers, as a form of ‘in-company’ user research. In that sense, designers and managers should become more aware of how to position their concepts within corporate environments.
