Dr. Kraal, J.J.
Jos Kraal is assistant professor of Behavioral Change at the Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering. His main research interests focus on design for behaviour change, physical activity promotion and the development of lifestyle interventions to prevent chronic diseases.
Before joining IDE, Jos completed his PhD in Medical Informatics (University of Amsterdam, 2016), where he developed and evaluated a home-based cardiac rehabilitation intervention in collaboration with Máxima MC Eindhoven/Veldhoven. Jos also holds a MSc degree in Human Movement Science (VU Amsterdam, 2011) and Public Health (Maastricht University, 2011). He joined the IDE faculty in Delft in 2019 as part of the 4TU Pride and Prejudice consortium, working on the development of dynamic and context-aware lifestyle interventions to prevent chronic diseases.
