MSc. Kun, P.

Péter Kun is a PhD candidate researching how to enable more people creating new things with data. His particular focus is on utilizing all the data already out there – such as urban or online data –, and how bottom-up sites of innovation – such as hackathons, makerspaces or fablabs – can facilitate gaining data skills and inspire new uses of data. Placed in the ID-StudioLab, Peter is working on the Open4Citizens project.

During his masters in Interaction Design and Technologies from Chalmers University, Peter focused on the role of technology in triggering self-reflection, and guided his interests towards the interactions between humans and data. His diverse background also includes a bachelor degree in Engineering and Management, and several years of freelance training and facilitation.
