Urban Electric Vehicle
The objective of this project is to close the gap between two-wheelers and cars, with developing light, affordable, safe, ergonomic and energy efficient electric vehicles that meet customer expectations in all weather conditions.
Goals of the project
- The focus is on passenger applications (and freight delivery as next generation) and on the global vehicle architecture and design.
- The aspects to address are: optimised weight; safe and integrated chassis; low energy consumption; new business approaches & novel supply chains.
- The research areas are (a) the semantic of safety versus lightness, (b) the connotation of experience, and (c) the sustainable system parameters.
