Public Service on the Map (PDOK) is a central facility that provide geodatasets. This actual and reliable information are based on open data and are therefore available to everyone. PDOK makes digital geospatial data available as data services and files.





Data Archiving and Networked Services (DANS) provides open access to a large amount of data files from various disciplines within the humanities and social sciences. This includes a lot of maps. You can download data directly and free of charge. In some cases, you may first need to request permission from the administrator. The entire collection is stored in the Electronic Archiving System, DANS EASY. To download data, you need to complete a one-time registration. DANS is an institute of KNAW (Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences) and NWO (Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research).

The National Georegister is the place to find all you're geo information from the Netherlands. With a simple and easy to use search engine and a clear overview of all the available datasets it's made possible to download or look at the data in a online mapviewer




A huge amount of maps are also available on the websites of topographical services of various European countries.
