Biography

Got excited about composites during my minor at Damen Shipyards, when I was studying Mechanical Engineering. After graduation I got a job as production planner at FiberCore Europe. The ambition was to become a structural engineer and I felt that I was seeking more in depth knowledge on composite engineering, which led me to the Aerospace Structures and Materials department of the Technical University of Delft.

Master Thesis Project

Multiscale void formation modeling in multi-layered woven fabrics during liquid composite manufacturing and model validation with fast radiation curing of a UV-curing resin.
