How can I pay

You can pay by debit card or credit card at the Sports and Culture desks. Online payments are done using iDEAL.

I have lost something - where is the lost and found department?

Any items that have been left behind are handed in to the Sports or Culture desks. They can be collected there. There are also special red containers for items of clothing that have been found in the Unit Sports. They are located in the corridor to Hall 1/the gym. You can look inside the containers yourself to see if any piece of clothing belonging to you is inside.

Are there any lockers?

There are free lockers at Sports & Culture. They are in the corridor towards the gym, and near the outdoor changing rooms towards the football pitches.

I have a complaint. What should I do?

Report your complaint or suggestion to the Sports desk, via sport-sc@tudelft.nl or to the Culture desk, via cultuur-sc@tudelft.nl. We will ensure that your complaint or suggestion is passed on to the appropriate person. You will receive an acknowledgement of receipt by e-mail, which will include the time within which you can expect a response.

Sports


From what time can I enrol for a lesson

You can enrol for daily group lessons from 13.00 on the day of the lesson in question. You should enrol for quarterly lessons a week before the start. You can find the various periods here. In the case of group lessons, the enrolment link is always located on the page of the lesson in question.

How can I reserve a tenniscourt?

Tennis courts may only be reserved in person, at the Unit Sports. There is a board next to the Sports desk where you can reserve a court using your sports card.

Are there fitness supervisors in the gym?

You can train unsupervised in the gym, but a qualified instructor is present every afternoon who can help you with various exercises or to draw up a personal training programme.

How can I aquire a sports card?

You can use this page to apply for a sports card. After completing the form, you can collect the sports card from the Sports desk. Do not forget to bring a hard copy of your proof of enrolment.

I am going abroad for some time - can I suspend my membership?

Students who are unable to participate in sports for a longer period, either because of a demonstrable injury, study or a traineeship abroad, or because their study programme has come to an end, may request a refund for part of the cost of their sports card. Culture


Is it possible to take a free trial lesson?

The Unit Culture organises the Free Try-Out Lessons on four evenings every season. These are the only occasions when it is possible to watch lessons, to get to know the teachers, and try out courses.

Where can I find the rates for culture courses and subscriptions?

The rates of the various courses vary and are included in the timetable. For the rates for culture subscriptions, click here.

Can I also take only a few lessons of a culture course?

No, it is not possible to take only a few lessons of a culture course.

When am I entitled to a reimbursement of the course fees?

You are entitled to a reimbursement in the following cases:

  • If the course in question is cancelled by the Unit Culture;
  • If the course on which you have enrolled is full;
  • If changes are made to the day and time of the course in question;
  • In cases of illness or unforeseen circumstances, consultations may be held on whether the course fees can be reimbursed.

Can I use my sports card to talke part in culture courses?

A sports card entitles you to take part in sports activities only. To take part in culture courses, you require a subscription or pay for separate courses.

Is it possible for a participant to catch up on a lesson that they have missed?

No, unless the lesson does not go ahead as originally scheduled, in which case a lesson is added in the week after the lessons are due to finish (the eighth week).

You are entitled to a reimbursement in the following cases:

  • If the activity in question is cancelled by the Unit Events;
  • If the activity on which you have enrolled is full;
  • If changes are made to the day and time of the activity in question;
  • In cases of illness or unforeseen circumstances, consultations may be held on whether the participation fees can be reimbursed.

What does it cost to take part in the Unit Sports & Culture activities?

The participation costs vary from one activity to another, but they are always listed with the activity in question in the agenda. The aim is for workshops to cover their costs and to be attractively priced for the target group.

Ideas are always welcome; please send an e-mail to events-sc@tudelft.nl.
Arrangements on putting these ideas in practice will subsequently be made in consultation with the Events employee.
