Biography
Amit Ashkenazy is an expert consultant and researcher of environmental policy. Since 2008 he has been working with governmental agencies, cities, companies, foundations and NGOs to promote sustainability through local action, national legislation and inter-governmental collaboration. He directed the Social-Environmental Caucus in the Israeli Parliament, worked as senior policy analyst on environmental policy and markets, and was fellow of the prestigious Milken Institute fellowship program, the Argov program in leadership and diplomacy, and at the NYC Parks sustainability initiatives team. Amit holds a BA in government, diplomacy and strategy from the IDC, a Master's degree in environmental management from Yale University, and he is currently pursuing a PhD in Technology, Policy and Management from the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.
