A.I. Prieto Hoces
Architect / MSc in Architecture from Pontifical Catholic University of Chile (PUC), and Doctor from Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) specializing in energy efficiency, climate design and façade integration of building systems and technologies. Alejandro was born in Santiago, Chile and he resides in the Netherlands since 2014. Currently he is a Senior researcher at the Chair Design of Construction and Research Coordinator of the Architectural Façades & Products Research Group in the Department of Architectural Engineering and Technology, TU Delft.
His professional interests revolve around climate responsive façade design, energy efficiency in office buildings, and low energy cooling strategies and systems. Throughout his professional career he has performed functions in architectural design and climate design consultancy, along with research and teaching activities in the field of building technologies.
