Biography
Alexander Koutamanis studied architecture at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He received his PhD from Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands, for a thesis on
the automatic recognition of architectural drawings. In addition to his academic research and teaching Alexander Koutamanis has worked as architect in Greece and as a senior consultant with the Government Buildings Agency in The Netherlands. He is executive board member of the
LDE Centre for BOLD Cities.
