Biography
Burhan Yildiz is doing research on the areas of experimental and numerical hydraulics. Besides, he works on developing optimization algorithms to use mainly in design and operation of Hydrosystems like hydropower optimization at the dam reservoirs. His work at the TU Delft is related with modeling hydraulic structures to use them in River Training works. He co-supervised several Bachelor theses and one MSc thesis on this topic at the TU Delft.
He has BSc degree in Civil Engineering, MSc and PhD degrees in Hydraulics.
