Defining the process envelope of static ultrasonic welding of thermoplastic composites.

Biography

MSc. Camila Brito got her BSc degree in Science and Technology in 2012 and in Aerospace Engineering in 2015, both from the Federal University of ABC (Brazil). During 2013, she was part of the federal program Science Without Borders and studied at the George Washington University (Washington, DC, USA). In 2017 she got her MSc degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the Technological Institute of Aeronautics (Brazil) with the project "Hygrothermal effects on interlaminar fracture toughness of composite joints". In 2018, she moved to the Netherlands to become a PhD candidate at the Aerospace Faculty of TU Delft. Her currently research investigates the limitations of ultrasonic welding process.
