Biography

Eric LUITEN (1959, the Netherlands ) is a registered landscape architect and planner. He is self-employed in Delft , full professor on the chair of Heritage and Spatial Design and Director of Education at Delft University of Technology. Luiten was cofounder of the Dutch landscape architecture journal Blauwe Kamer, of the biannual of Landscape Architecture and Urban Design in the Netherlands and of the Landscape Architecture Europe annual review. He was curator for A WIDER VIEW on Cultural Landscape Challenges during the summer of 2008. In 2009 Luiten was appointed Special Advisor on Spatial Quality to the Board of Governors of the Province of South-Holland. In 2012 he was appointed State Advisor on Landscape and Water. He is member of the State Advisory Council on Spatial Quality.
