Profile
Biography
In July 2020 I started as a PhD candidate in the Wind Energy and Aeroacoustics group at the Delft University of Technology. My work is focused on the aerodynamics and aeroacoustics of distributed propulsion systems and is part of the European “ENODISE” project. In the ENODISE project a number of novel aircraft propulsion systems are investigated. Within ENODISE, my research is focused on a control surface mounted distributed propulsion system which makes use of thrust vectoring and therefore has VTOL capabilities. The intended application for this configuration is in Urban Air Mobility which means that aeroacoustic installation effects will play an important role. The research is also in collaboration with the Royal Netherlands Aerospace Centre (NLR).
