Profile

Biography

I am a PhD candidate for both the department of Environmental Economics of the Institute for Environmental Studies (IVM) at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Energy & Industry department at TU Delft. He has a background in public administration from Leiden University (BSc) and in economics and governance from Leiden University (MSc). During his master’s thesis, Kevin explored the behavioural changes as a result of exogenous shocks with regards to labour participation. This topic partially aligns with his research interests, at the intersection of public administration, (behavioural) economics and sustainability.

Currently his PhD research focuses on behavioural research to stimulate energy efficiency in residential homes. He will examine a multitude of tools to stimulate public engagement, and will experiment with these tools using econometric methodology. As part of the Align4Energy project.
