Profile
Biography
Nina Bohm is a reflective and approachable educational researcher with a background in urban design and science communication. She investigates courses and curricula that build bridges to connect academic knowledge and the sustainability challenges of the city. Her research takes a specific interest in how students learn to deal with uncertainty.
Previously, Nina worked as an education coordinator at AMS Institute in Amsterdam, where she developed living labs in the joint degree master program MSc MADE. In those living labs, students work on urban sustainability challenges, such as the energy transition or the development of a circular economy. Both MSc MADE and the TU Delft are case-study environments for her PhD research. The research is executed under the wings of the 4TU Centre for Engineering Education.
