P.P. (Praharsh) Pai Raikar
- Computational Fluid Dynamics
- Heat Transfer
- Heat Exchangers, Heat Sinks and Thermal Management
Praharsh obtained his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from BITS Pilani, India in 2016. In 2018, he graduated from ETH Zurich with M.Sc. degree in Energy Science & Technology. During his undergraduate and graduate studies, he focused on fluid dynamics and heat transfer applications in the energy field and the buildings sector, utilizing Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) methods.
After graduating from ETH Zurich, Praharsh started working as a researcher in thermal energy systems at VITO-EnergyVille, Belgium. He has been working on projects involving computational modelling for heat exchangers, thermal management and safety of batteries.
In 2021, Praharsh joined the Propulsion and Power group of TU Delft's Faculty of Aerospace Engineering as a PhD Researcher. His research focuses on design optimization methods for additive manufacturing-based high-performance heat transfer devices.
