Biography
Paul is employed as a Senior Propulsion Engineer at the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) in Huntsville, Alabama, United States. Mr. Gradl serves as a Principal Investigator and leads several projects for additive manufacturing of liquid rocket engine combustion devices and supports a variety of development and flight programs over the last 18 years. He authored and co-authored over 70 journal articles and conference papers; publishing a book on Metal Additive Manufacturing for Propulsion Applications; holds four patents; and regularly teaches courses on additive manufacturing. Gradl is an Associate Fellow of American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), and serves on several additive manufacturing industry and government committees and as an advisor to industry.
