Profile

Biography

I'm a Postdoctoral researcher in Applied Geophysics at Delphi Consortium and TU Delft, focusing on seismic parameter estimation, inversion, and imaging. In my postdoc, I am working on integrating the Marchenko method with Full-wavefield migration and joint migration inversion algorithms to handle internal multiples correctly.

During my Ph.D., under the supervision of Professor Wapenaar, I developed two innovative algorithms: one that's target-oriented and another that's target-enclosed LSRTM. These algorithms allow us to consider reflections from overburden and underburden, as well as handle multiple reflections using Marchenko redatuming techniques.

Moreover, I obtained my Master of Science in Geophysics from the University of Tehran. My Master’s thesis title is “Two-dimensional time domain acoustic full waveform inversion using the multiscale method.” My main research interests are Full Waveform Inversion, the Marchenko method, and imaging.
