The National University of Singapore, or NUS, was ranked as the best university of Asia by QS University Rankings 2014. It started as a medical school, but has sixteen faculties and schools now, focusing on Arts, Business, Engineering, Medicine and Science.
The list of available modules for exchange students for the academic year 2017-2018 is here. In general, most schools at NUS offer a range of courses from level 1000-level 5000, level 1000 courses being first year courses (BSc) and level 5000 being final year courses (MSc level). Master level students are welcome to take lower level modules outside their major subject of vacancies, meeting the pre-requisite requirements and time tabling factors. After your return the Board of Examiners will decide if the you can use the credits of the courses at lower levels as electives in your Master programme. Economics courses at NUS are not open to Master level students. You can find a full list of module restrictions at each faculty/school here.
