Language of Architecture
Prospective students of Architecture prepare for their degree courses in Dutch by doing the course Language of Architecture. In this course, they study texts, videos and audio fragments on eleven architectural themes such as trends in Dutch architecture, building techniques and building management. Participants acquire jargon and relevant vocabulary and practise their listening skills. The course consists of guided self-study, one or two meetings per week and taking computer-based tests. If there are not enough participants to fill a course, self-study is the only alternative option. Doing the course by self-study outside of the course dates is always possible.
