Lockers

Obtaining a locker

Within the Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering, students and staff members have access to lockers.
Lockers can only be claimed by scanning a valid campus card. Simply hold your campus card against the designated terminal, and the terminal will assign you a locker number.
Please note that it is not possible to occupy more than one locker at a time within TU Delft.

Taking a locker into use

The procedure to obtain the locker is as follows:

Step 1: Hold your campus card in front of the illuminated card reader located at the bottom of the terminal, as shown in the photo.

Step 2: The terminal will assign you a locker and unlock it. While unlocking, the LED light of the assigned locker will flash red. You must open the locker within 20 seconds.
You go to your locker, place your belongings inside, and close the door. The lock will engage with a soft click, securing itself within 20 seconds.

To reopen your locker, follow these steps:

Step 1: Hold your campus card in front of the illuminated card reader located at the bottom of the terminal, as shown in the photo.

If you hold your campus card against the illuminated card reader at the bottom of the terminal, you will see this screen:

Step 2: The terminal will ask if you are leaving or if you only want to open the locker.
Select Just open if you only want to retrieve something from the locker and keep the locker.
If you want to open the locker and then no longer use it, click on I will leave. The locker will then be released for the next student.

If the system is not functioning properly or if you are experiencing any issues

It's possible that a campus card may be rejected by the terminal. One of the reasons for this could be that your campus card is not yet registered. In this case, please report to the service point for assistance.

If you present your campus card at the wrong terminal, the system will indicate this.
