Employee Walk-in Workshop
Mechanical workshop for employees
In the Employee Walk-in Workshop (EWW) ME employees can, after being instructed by the workshop employees, create parts themselves or under supervision on the available processing equipment (turning, milling, and drilling machines). Apart from employees, students that are working on their MSc graduation project are also welcome, as long as there is space. Wearing safety clothing is mandatory when working in the EWW.
It is also possible to have parts created by the workshop employees, this includes 3D-printing and 5-axis CNC milling. This is mainly intended for parts that are hard to make. Please take into account that there may be longer waiting times.
Finally, advice/support can also be asked in the EWW for designing or larger projects, in which case (parts of) the design or project can even be taken over by workshop employees.
The workshop is located in the ME faculty building, room F-0-280.
More information about walk-in, manufacturing techniques, requesting parts, the quarterly schedule and the house rules are available behind the buttons below. Didn’t find what you were looking for? Ask your question to us with an email to IWM-ME@tudelft.nl.
