Job description

You will join a small team with engineering enthusiast from diverse backgrounds. The range of tasks go from drawing up lifting plans to concept design for future off-shore projects. And you’ll experience the whole lifecycle of a project; from coming up with ideas to putting them into operation.

What kind of responsibilities can you expect?

  • Creating lifting plans in Solidworks to determine what the actual situation will look like with the help of 3D CAD models before it is carried out in practice. The 3D models provide an idea of the composition of the necessary crane, the type of wind turbine and the environment around the wind turbine.
  • During the concept design for future offshore projects, you focus on categorizing sub-problems and sub-solutions. These partial solutions can be combined in order to come up with various concepts, of which you make an initial cost estimate in Excel.
  • Is there a new crane to be tested? You will be writing the test plan, test procedure and supervising the actual execution of the test. You get to see the result of your work in real time.
  • Communication with clients is key. To present clients a visualisation of your solutions the concepts are placed in a 3D CAD environment to determine additional points of interest and potentially missing information.
  • Researching the offshore wind energy market. How can the product portfolio be adjusted to the changing market circumstances?

The ambition of the company offers you opportunities for personal growth and development!
