Peer Consultation is a structured and validated method where a group of lecturers facing similar challenges in their line of work share experiences in a secure, confidential environment.
These sessions are facilitated by experienced educational advisors with a background in supervision. The meetings are aimed at sharing difficult or challenging situations and receiving advice or counsel. This is a good way to broaden perspectives and improving the ability to deal with different situations. Growing personally and professionally requires revealing limitations or challenges to others, which can feel difficult and can make participants feel vulnerable. The facilitators of the peer consultation groups are aware of this and strive to create a warm, welcoming and supportive environment which allows everyone to give and receive both guidance and feedback in a positive and respectful way. After signing up for the first session, the group will decide on new meetings together.
Peer Consultation is free of charge.- Send an email to Teaching-Support@tudelft.nl

In this workshop you will experience the merits and pitfalls of rubrics. You will exchange tips to ensure the assessment is fair, efficient, transparent and objective, and stimulates your students’ learning. You will learn how to make sure your grading is comparable with the way your colleagues grade your students’ assignments or projects.
You will find out: - why rubrics can help to grade and provide feedback on student work (or make their lives miserable) - why and how to align rubrics with learning objectives, instructions and course slang - why converting a marked rubric into grades is tricky and important
There will be plenty of room to share experiences, grading tools and challenges in your own courses.
