Research

ICT platforms pose great innovation opportunities in energy and mobility. By connecting energy meters to the Internet, grid operators can incentivize electricity consumption and production. Internet-connected cars enable a range of new mobility and car-sharing services.

How to conceptualize ICT platforms for the energy and mobility domain? How to design ICT platform architectures that unleash these opportunities? How to balance between open platforms that allow innovation by third parties, while maintaining control over physical assets?
